M/s METAL COATINGS (INDIA) LTD is a public limited company promoted by Khandelwal family in December 1994. The company is engaged in Manufacturing of C.R. Strips, CR/MS Flat Wire, and Galvanized Wire. These products are used by wide range of user industries such as Auto Component, Power Transmission Equipment, White Goods and Electrical Equipments etc. The company supplies the goods to many reputed companies in the domestic industry covering Havells India, Delton Cables, Skytone Electricals (India) Ltd., Hindustan Vidyut Products Ltd., Talbros Automotive Components, Maharaja Appliances, Precision Stamping, Avon Tubetech, R. R. Autotech, Neolite Industries, Satyam Auto, Orient Paper and Industries etc.
"Directors’ Background"
- Mr. R.C. Khandelwal, aged 61 years is a Mechanical Engineer (B.E. Mech.) having more than 38 years of industrial experience. During his tenure he has served as key Executive in different institutions / companies. He takes care of production function covering technical aspects of production.
- Mr. Pramod Khandelwal, aged 45 years is a Chartered Accountant having 21 years experience in Commercial & Financial field including 5 years in a Multinational Company. He looks after Commercial, Financial and marketing of aspect of the Company.
- Mr A. P. Khandelwal, aged 72 years is Ex-Chairman of a Central Public Sector Undertaking. He started his career as an executive in “Shriram Group” and later on served as a Chief of Finance /Administration of various PSU’s. His vast experience & wide contacts with Corporates acts as a major guiding force behind the company.
"Independent Directors:"
- Mr. V. K. Hajela, M. Com., CAIIB, FCS: He has 50 years of experience including 37 years in a variety of industries including engineering, chemicals, synthetic fiber, rubber, glass, electronics and telecommunications. He was Executive Director on the Supervisory Board of RPG Enterprises and had responsibility for all the companies in the RP Goenka Group in the business of Telecommunications, Information Technology and Glass Industry.
- Mr. K.L.Gupta: He is B.E (Metallurgical) and has 39 years to experience in the metallurgical Industry. Under his leadership company is improving the product quality resulting better acceptance of the product.
- Mr. S. K. Gupta: He is a commerce graduate and has over 30 years experience in engineering and fast moving consumer goods industries.
The promoters personally monitor each critical aspects of the business and are well supported by team of competent, dedicated professional and technical in production and other functional area of business.
Industry Outlook
The product of the Company are used predominantly in the Auto Components, white goods and in Power Transmission (Cables) industries. With the Indian economy growing rapidly, huge investments in the power sector is expected and consequently a good demand for power cables is expected, which in turn will steer the Galvanised Wire/strips sales of the Company. Besides Power Cables, the company caters to the automotive components and the white goods sectors, both of which have a promising growth potential. The rural penetration of white goods continues to be extremely low in India inspite of a surge in the purchasing power in the rural economy. As power availability improves, the demand for white goods in the rural economy shall drive the demand for the same in the country thereby leading to a demand for the products of the Company.
